“I am so proud of the restoration projects Liz Bauer Dickson and her husband Jeff have completed on South Franklin Street in Christiansburg. She and Jeff have taken two very old and prominent properties and restored them to their original grandeur. As a native of Christiansburg and having grown up within a block of these buildings, I had become saddened by the way they had deteriorated because I remember both properties very well. In fact, I walked past the house and apartment building almost every day and played in their yards with friends. Liz and Jeff have breathed new lives into these properties, and I followed their progress on both from start to finish. I always looked forward the progress pictures that appeared on Facebook and witnessed the transformations firsthand.
